Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PeptideChat (“PeptideChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Email address. When you sign up for updates or submit an email capture form, we store the email address you provide.
  • Account information. When you create an account, our authentication provider, Clerk, collects and manages your account details (such as your name, email address, and authentication credentials).
  • Chat conversations. When you are signed in and use the chat feature, the messages you send and the responses you receive are stored in our database so you can revisit your conversation history.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • Authenticate you and secure your account;
  • Store and display your chat conversation history;
  • Generate AI responses to your questions;
  • Send you product updates and educational content you have opted into;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, and fraud.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party processors to operate the Service. Each handles your data according to its own privacy practices:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Neon — serverless Postgres database hosting (stores conversations and email captures).
  • Anthropic — AI model provider that processes your chat messages to generate responses.
  • Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with these providers only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service.

4. Cookies

We and our authentication provider use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may limit your ability to use parts of the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, after which we will delete it unless we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Age requirement

The Service is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact us
