How We Source & Verify

The library cites 722 studies across 182 of its 193 entries. Every citation links to its PubMed record, and each one was checked against the National Library of Medicine's database to confirm the paper exists and that the title we show is the record's own title, word for word. An automated check flags any citation that is missing its link.

When a claim could not be tied to a real paper, we removed the citation rather than keep an unverifiable one. Some entries therefore have few or no citations. That is deliberate: for many research peptides, little published evidence exists.

• Clinical: studied in humans, in some cases as an approved drug. It does not mean approved for every use discussed.
• Preclinical: evidence comes mainly from cell or animal studies. Effects in people are largely unknown.
• Research chemical: sold for laboratory research, not approved for human use, and not made to pharmaceutical standards.

A study existing is not the same as a result being established. Where evidence is thin, comes from a single group, or is only in animals, the entry says so.

Dosing sections describe ranges reported in published research or commonly discussed in the community, labeled as such. They are not recommendations. The calculator only converts a dose you already have into syringe units.

PeptideChat's chat is powered by Claude, a large language model from Anthropic, and is limited to the peptides in our library. It can be wrong. Check anything important against the cited studies and a qualified clinician.
