Thymalin is a polypeptide fraction extracted from the thymus gland that is reported to regulate T-lymphocyte differentiation and restore balance between immune cell populations. It is thought to modulate the neuroendocrine-immune axis and support thymic function, which declines with age. Russian studies describe normalization of immune markers and, in combination with Epitalon, effects on age-related morbidity and mortality.
