Also known as: SKF-110679, U-75799
SKF-110679 is an early synthetic growth hormone secretagogue peptide studied for its ability to stimulate growth hormone release. It is a research-grade compound predating modern GHRPs.

SKF-110679 is a hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue that acts on the pituitary somatotrophs, functioning as an early agonist at what is now known as the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor). Receptor activation triggers phospholipase C signaling, increasing intracellular calcium and stimulating pulsatile growth hormone release. It works largely independently of GHRH and can act synergistically with GHRH signaling. As one of the first-generation secretagogues, it informed later development of compounds such as GHRP-6 and hexarelin.
