Also known as: N-Acetyl Selank Amidate, N-Acetyl Selank
N-Acetyl Selank Amidate is a stabilized analog of the anxiolytic peptide Selank, modified for improved durability and intranasal delivery. It is studied for anxiety reduction and cognitive support.

N-Acetyl Selank Amidate is a Tuftsin-derived heptapeptide analog in which N-terminal acetylation and C-terminal amidation increase resistance to enzymatic degradation. It modulates the GABAergic and serotonergic systems and influences the expression and metabolism of enkephalins, producing anxiolytic effects without sedation or dependence. Selank analogs also raise brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and modulate the balance of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, linking its nootropic and immune-modulating actions. The stabilizing modifications support its use via intranasal administration for central nervous system access.
