Also known as: Gonadorelin, GnRH, Gonadorelin Acetate
Gonadorelin is a synthetic form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) studied for stimulating the pituitary release of LH and FSH. It is used in fertility research and to assess or support the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis.

Gonadorelin is identical to native GnRH, a decapeptide that binds GnRH receptors on anterior pituitary gonadotrophs. Pulsatile receptor activation stimulates the synthesis and release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which in turn drive gonadal steroidogenesis and gametogenesis. Pulsatile delivery sustains gonadotropin output, whereas continuous exposure desensitizes and downregulates the receptors, suppressing LH and FSH.
